You don't know what you've got till it's gone
Hey dolls,
So its another day and for that I thank God. Without him we are nothing. Today was my aunty's birthday and i felt to dress a bit nigerianish today seeing as she is no stranger to her roots. I dressed up an ankara top with a body con skirt and brown heels. I felt quite comfortable and shockingly I got a shitload of comments on the top. People loved it. Maybe its because prints are in style for the summer. Well here are a few pictures of the outfit. Don't forget to hype it and watch the ootd.

Drawbridge Close.
Hey dolls,
So basically this is another look I put together. I felt to wear something a bit different to what I would normally wear. It's a rather simple yet dressy outfit. The skater dress gives it an edge and the boots spice up the whole outfit.

The girl at the bus stop (OOTD)
Hi dolls,
So...i didnt really do much today. I babysitted and stayed at my frineds house but that doesnt stop me from feeling daring with my outfit. I wore a vintage cardigan today with leggings and a camisole which was rather laid back and nice. Below is a picture taken whilst i was waiting for a bus back home. I hope you all had a good day.

Curling my hair : Wavy hair tutorial
Hi dolls,
Ok you guys so today i made a tutorial to show you guys how i get nice wavy hair with my curling iron. I was getting kind of tired of the straight and bold look so i thought i'd loosen up a bit with some tight waves. Haha (irony). Oh well i hope you enjoy the tutorial. :) Here's a video and a little pic to show the end results ;)

My signature make up look.
Hi dolls,
Ok so basically i thought i'd share this with you guys seeing as i'd received many nice comments on my make up looks lately. For the past four weeks i have stuck to the same look but just play around with the colour on my lips and the the volume of my mascara and eye pencil. I have become custom to the lazy eye look as i feel it really does complement my big sultry eyes. Although the eye is the same the choice of lip colour tends to influence the whole look and make it look different. If you take a look at the pictures below you'd find that i look a bit different in each picture. To achieve this, I apply pencil to my lower lash line and apply some dark brown eye shadow, then i blend it out with a blending brush which is really simple. I've made a video to show you how i get this done seeing as only writing is never enough. I hope you all find this useful thanks for reading.

So as we all know yesterday was father's day and although the weather was a little bit gloomy it wasn't all that bad. I went for quite a different look that day and am glad that I was able to pull it off. Usually people tend to think the maxi dress doesn't look good on 'short people' however if you are able to get a good size it could work out just right. I dressed up my outfit with a denim pullover. and denim-like slippers. Here's a sneakpeak. Feel free to try this out and mail me pictures at themakeupfanatic@hotmail.com

Stained with Scarlet

So this is another look. That I wore today. As you can see Red is more than just apparent in my clothing. I was looking for a more vintage granny kind of style. And guess what? Shannelle's wearing loafers. Yes I said it. They're comfortable and look good with my outfit. I love my look today its simple and dressy at the same time. I think a cropped top is really good way to dress yourself up this summer. Its definitely in season try it out. Be experimental. Be seen
